Hallamshire Engineering Services, a leading designer and manufacturer of materials handling equipment, including pulleys and drums for conveyor systems, has supplied Sibelco, a global specialist in processing industrial minerals with a full range of solid and spiral pulley drums. 

Hallamshire Engineering Services (HES) has worked collaboratively with Sibelco for over 15 years, with the latest order forming part of an enhanced upgrade programme. The new process equipment from HES will help Sibelco improve machine wear and minimise downtime in the processing of silica sand for the glass manufacturing industry. 

For this contract, Hallamshire Engineering Services manufactured and supplied the pulley drums to Sibelco's King's Lynn site in Norfolk, in a wide range of sizes and specifications, including solid pulley drums with diameters of 511mm and 711mm. 

Hallamshire Engineering Services has also previously manufactured and supplied pulley drums for other Sibelco branches, reflecting the strength and reach of the partnership across the group. 

Sibelco is now looking to implement a stock system for pulley drums, to ensure replacements are readily available whenever the company needs them.
